Inspired by Ray Johnson’s mail art I initiated my first postcard project at the ArtEast Open Studio Tour in 2016. I invited people to take a postcard, modify it (in any way) and return to me. This is the collection. The artists who responded range widely in age, are doodlers and artists, photographers and writers. They wrote, glued, drew and painted. Each person had a very different take on the image. The collaboration was so dynamic that I have continued to issue a new postcard every year.
